DrmBt is the production of Chicago based producer/composer/instrumentalist Vincent Theodore. Conceived as a vehicle for ambient performance, computer based sound design and tone collage, Rubato is an improvised live of loop-based guitar music. Occasionally joined by musicians and visual artists, DrmBt embraces an ambient aesthetic of textural improvisation that draws inspiration from an ever evolving exploration of technology and the studio as a source of innovation.

"Rubato" is a multi-movement suite of minimal guitar drones and loops performed and recorded live in October of 2010 at Shivaree Studios.
